Tom Dyer, the 2005 defending “Blue Lizard 200” race winner, returns to Infineon Raceway this Saturday June 24 th . The Northern California native will make his series debut in the NASCAR Grand National West division driving for Mike Harvick and the Harvick Motorsports team piloting the #62 Cycle Shack, Wunder Bar, Menards Chevrolet.

"I'm looking forward to getting back behind the wheel. We had a shakedown run a couple weeks ago and it was good. The West cars are great to drive and I'm thrilled to be working with Harvick Motorsports. I think Mike has probably forgotten more than I'll ever know! In the future I hope to run the series on a regular basis, but right now this event is a one off for me, so I'm looking to make the most of it!"

The “Blue Lizard 200” goes green on Saturday at 1:00pm featuring the AutoZone Grand National West series, which makes its return to Infineon for the first time in eight years. Several Nextel Cup series drivers are expected to take part in Saturday's West series race.

“We had a great run last year when we won this race. Now, it's 2006. It's a new year and series and it's time to focus on this race. I want to thank my sponsors, Cycle Shack Inc, Wunder-Bar/Automatic Bar Controls Inc, Menards Home Improvement Stores, Cowboy Charcoal, The Original Grill Pad and Hydro Hoist Boat Lifts for partnering with me for this event. They are really the ones who are making this race possible for me along with my team.
